Born and raised in Omdurman, Sudan;
He studied at the College of Fine & Applied Art Khartoum, Sudan; Has a Master degree in Painting from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute (V.I. Surikov).

An active participant in workshops and exhibitions, he exhibited his work in more than ten exhibitions in the Sudan & abroad, the latest was a solo exhibition at the Mahmoud Mukhtar Gallery in Cairo, Egypt, December of 2006.

Algizouli has a unique experience of establishing an art gallery "The Garden Gallery" in 2004 at "al Mourada", which was the first galley in an old residential area in Omdurman, Sudan.
He is a member of the Environmental Protection Association, Sudan;
Founding member of the "Fountain Group", and wrote it's manifesto "The Artistic Garden" in 2001;
Founding member of "The Children's Art Garden" and wrote parts of it's book which was published in 2005, in Omduramn, Sudan.

Has worked as an art teacher at the Arts School, Khartoum University;
The Architect School, Darna University, Libya;
Khartoum Applied College, Khartoum, Sudan.

Alaeldin Algizouli, written & published numerous essays and articles on visual art and visual culture, in Sudanese Newspapers & web sites. Has written two novels & a group of short stories.

Now he is preparing for his PhD in the history of Painting.
